Christmas Day may have passed but there are still plenty of parties left to go to! Here's a slightly less conventional Christmas party look for anyone looking to skip the glitter this year.
I have been accumulating Catrice & Essence goodies over the past while (as usual) and have gathered my picks from the past couple of months for this post.
Watch the video for a better look at the products and to hear my opinion on the bits!
A perfect or at least near perfect foundation application is easy if you break it down into a few steps, pretty much like any makeup application really....
In the video below, I've gone into detail on all of these steps, 5 of them in total, which should help lead you to being able to apply your foundation & base expertly!
Which means it's time to start picking out our party outfits, and for me it's important that my dresses actually cover me against the colder winter weather and are not too restrictive when yummy food & drinks are involved :)
I finally got around to seeing the new Hunger Games movie 'Catching Fire' and as predicted, I loved it! I loved the videography, the over all aesthetic, the Capitol Couture fashion and of course the makeup. Oh yeah, and the actual story line didn't completely suck either :P
My favourite makeup look for the film was the one Katniss wore at the dance in the Capitol where she has striking red eyeshadow with glitter over an interesting double-lined wing eyeliner design. The rest of the makeup was kept fresh and delicate, really allowing for the eyes to stand out!
In my last post I showed you guys the new blushes and lip crayons that were released in Zoeva's newest collection last week, and leaving the best for last, today I'm here to show ye 'The Zoe Bag', a fabulous makeup tote bag that was also released along with the collection.
Watch my short video to see the bag and here my thoughts on it :)
