'Soap & Glory' Makeup Range.

Hey Guys:)

I was sniffing around in my local Boots pharmacy (Drug Store) & inevitably made a bee-line for the cosmetics section, and one of the first stands I saw was an unfamiliar one belonging to the new 'Soap & Glory' Makeup Range!
Delighted with myself for stumbling across such a lovely find.
I've been told that these makeup products are new to the rest of the 'Soap & glory' range which is best known for it's plumping lipgloss 'Sexy Mother Pucker'.

The products I picked up were the;
1. 'Show Good Face' Skin energising Foundation & Primer
2. 'Kick Ass' Concealer (This contains 2 concealers Eye/blemish & a translucent setting powder)

I bought the lightest shade of the base which is called, handily enough, 'The fairest of them all' and it cost me €15.00 for a 30ml bottle.
The foundation needs to be shaken in the bottle before application in order to 'Activate' the primer.
It gives a natural Satin finish which is described as 'Dewy' on the packaging (which is too cute btw) but luckily this doesn't read as shiny. I usually don't get along too well with dewy finishes thanks to my oil-prone T-zone, this it likes however ^_^

The 'Kick Ass' Concealer (Which possibly has the coolest product name ever!) is a little gem!
It comes in 2 levels, 2 concealers on the bottom; a yellow toned one for blemishes or to conceal redness & a salmon shade for under eye circles, and on the top; A translucent setting powder with teeny weeny mini powder puff.
I got the shade 'Light' (Big Surprise) and it cost me a very reasonable €14.
I'm totally hooked on this concealer since getting it!

(From L - R; Salmon coloured under eye concealer, Yellow toned concealer, Foundation/primer.)

You can see just how lovely & creamy the concealers are from the pic above.

I am roughly a NC15 in foundation shade, though my inner arm above is very pale, paler than my face.

Let me know if any of ye have tried any if these products or any of the rest of the range!!

Cheers & Chat soon,
Siobhán.

  2. I'd love to get the concealer... however in my boots store they only have S&G body scrubs and butters :(
