A self confessed aqua-phobe while not in the bath/shower concerning my face, I generally use wipe off milk/cream cleansers which for the most part I am very happy with. Something about the water running down my neck/elbows that I just can't handle over the sink, and I always soak the floor. No exceptions >_<
Anyhu's, despite said preference, I decided to purchase a foaming facial wash to use in the shower/bath as I was getting a little bored of using 'Dove' Soap and had even been using a 'not for face' body exfoliant to finish it up. Probably mot my finest idea.
It has a bristled rubber disc hidden away in it's fat little head area called "The Scrublet" - soft, Flexible brush, which you apply the gel to and in turn use this to scrub your face clean.
The gel itself is good for Blemish prone skin (That's me folks!), claims to be 'purifying, and contains Salicylic Acid, a popular spot fighting ingredient that I am very familiar with.
I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and must say that I am quite sucked in by the little 'Scrublet' gimmick, as it actually works very nicely! I have to use minimal product to get up a good lather and my face feels really clean and fresh after. Result!
Also the rubber 'Scrublet' has a wee suction cup on the part that slides between your fingers which adheres handily to your bathroom tiles. As I'm still at the early stages of our courtship, I can't yet say just how well it works but can confidently say "so far so good". Have a good feeling about this little fella!
That's all for now!
Take care & Chat soon,
Siobhán.

nice, I love the fact it comes with the sponge! thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI use the loreal perfect clean foaming gentle scrub (the orange one) and already got my third one - I really like it
ReplyDeleteThese kind of product is not for me, because I have normal skin. I like the idea of sponge inside, though. I use Eucerin wasch lotion, and its great! Have you tried it? I used Dove soap for a long time, until I discovered Eucerin. Your skin looks gorgeous to me, not acne proon at all...
ReplyDeleteThey have a three types of cleanser and one for dry skin
