  1. Hello!
First of all,I really enjoy your videos and I have learnt a lot! You are a great teacher! Todays video was really interesting because I don't like using foundation everyday and I think primers are a good solution. My skin is combination to dry and especially around the eyes, where the skin is really thin is very dehydrated (I don't drink much water...I always forget which I shouldn't...!)However, I do apply an eyecream for moisture, the question is; Is there anything I can do when I put my make up on to minimise those thin dehydrated rinkles because foundation makes them more obvious and especially loose powder, which sometimes when I skip foundation I just use powder which I like more.Any ideas? Also, could you please make a tutorial combining blue with purple eyeshadows? Thank you very much. Keep up the good work I always look forward for your lovely tutorials!

    1. Hi, actually drinking lots of water to keep skin hydrated is a myth, it has no effect. Good moisturizer is all you need. If your skin is very dry, some type of nourishing oil would help, like almond, avocado, jojoba etc.
Since you have dry undereye area, moisturize well before applying foundation, and don't powder there. Just use loose powder on T-zone.

    2. That's bull, it is not at all myth. But you are probably mistaking the definition of moisturize and hydrate. While it's not going to change your skin balance (the skin you were born with) it will hydrate your skin. Skin is a major organ and one thing is does absorb is water. It does not absorb creams or any other topical agent, these only serve to hold the moisture on the top layer of skin. Period. Water will not entirely alleviate dryness, but you will notice your skin will be more supple and radiant. Pinch the skin on your hand, if it takes even a couple seconds to return to normal (flat) you are dehydrated, and just think - if that's how your skin is now, how will it be in 20 years?! Start drinking water.
