Treating sensitive skin can be a pain, especially when products touted as being suitable for sensitive skin just about burn the face off ya! I've gone though bouts of sensitive periods when it comes to my skin so I know how this can be, but luckily I am generally ok with most products. For any of my clients who suffer with sensitive skin, I always refer them to the La Roche-Posay or Vichy products. They just really hit the nail on the head when it comes to high-tolerance products. Both brands are known for the inclusion of soothing Thermal Spring Water in their products and this is no different in La Roche-Posays' newest addition to their Physiological cleansing range, the 'Physiological Foaming Water'.

Hey Folks :)
I'm sure many of ye are aware that Youtube has YET AGAIN changed the channel layout meaning more fiddling about with banners and the likes, but this time they have included a space for a 'welcome' video for non-subscribed visitors to your channel. This is a short introductory video summing up your channel for people who might not know what it is about! Anyhow, I think it's actually quite a good idea and here's my offering :)

Weekend Away! My Travel Makeup & Toiletries (Cabin Luggage)
Well! I'm away to London town tomorrow for the long weekend and to get out of dodge for my birthday, a.k.a, St. Patricks Day!
I have been saving so as I can spend til my little heart's content and come home with lovely new makeup to play with and to share with all of ye of course :)
I packed a modest enough makeup and toiletries set for my 4 day journey as I will be picking up plenty over there (Hello Pro Store!!!) and I booked a bag in on my return flight as well.

Lancome 'Teint Visionnaire' Foundation & Concealer Duo; Review & Demo.
I went a bit mental there a couple of weeks ago spending a bit above my budget on makeup, between Brown Thomas and Boots, & one of those purchases was the €45 (£36) Lancome 'Teint Visionnaire' Foundation & Concealer Duo. Considering you're getting 2 products in the package, it's not actually a bad price for such a high end foundation, well 3 products almost as the foundation contains the Visionnaire Super Serum.

New! Vichy Blemish Blaster.... NormaDerm 'Hyaluspot'
Pretty bold claims by the skincare giant but I have to say, whether it be beginners luck or not, I have had great success with this gel so far. I haven't been suffering with breakouts as much lately as I was last year thankfully, but I still usually have at least one or 2 small little feckers hanging about somewhere on my face at any one time.
Since I received this guy a couple of weeks ago, any bump, spot or blemish that appeared on my face has been immediately smothered by the gel and not one of them developed into the nasty raised, angry red lump that usually happens.
Interestingly, Vichy report that we subconsciously touch our mugs on average 65 times a day... resulting in more bacteria being transferred to our skins' surface inducing blemishes on weakened spots of the skin and aggravating existing blemishes!
The 'Hyaluspot' works by protecting spots from this bacteria and further contamination to encourage faster healing.
It contains moisturising 1% 'Hyaluronic Acid' which forms a film over the area protecting it from contaminants and stopping the spots' further development, plus anti-inflammatory properties to sooth and help the healing process.

La Roche-Posay 'Nutritic Intense' - Dry Skin Saviour
La Roche-Posay have recently launched their newest dry skin remedy in the form of their Nutritic Intense formulas which promise to "reconstitute dry skin layer by layer, relieving painful sensations & offering comfort & suppleness while soothing the skin", and all this is thanks to their new breakthrough active ingredient; MP-LIPIDS. These lipid lads basically help repair the skins barrier function which is compromised due to the lack of natural lipids in the skin, causing the sensitivity, redness, tightness and all the other uncomfortable side effects associated with dry skin.

New MAC Foundation!! PLUS Bye bye's & new shades.
It's finally here!! The new MAC foundation; Mineralize Moisture SPF15 Foundation. It has been available online from last Thursday and will be available to purchase in person from counters from this Thursday March 7th in USA, Europe etc but NOT in Asia until beginning of 2014.
It comes in a 30ml bottle & will retail for €36.50 in Ireland and I think about $33 in the States.
It is replacing the Mineralize SatinFinish Foundation that was the original liquid foundation released as part of the Mineralize range, but it totally kicks its ass in regards to quality, finish, feel... pretty much everything!
As ye may have picked up from that, I'm a fan!
It's a sheer to medium luminous, natural satin finish foundation containing minerals (MAC's 77 mineral complex) and other beneficial ingredients such as Shea butter and Vitamin E - a powerful anti-oxidant.
It also contains powders to create an "optical blurring effect" to help hide the appearance of imperfections and fine lines etc.
And it contains an all important Broad Spectrum SPF15 for skin protection against sun damage and aging.
