New MAC Foundation!! PLUS Bye bye's & new shades.

Howdy Folks,

It's finally here!! The new MAC foundation; Mineralize Moisture SPF15 Foundation. It has been available online from last Thursday and will be available to purchase in person from counters from this Thursday March 7th in USA, Europe etc but NOT in Asia until beginning of 2014.

It comes in a 30ml bottle & will retail for €36.50 in Ireland and I think about $33 in the States.

It is replacing the Mineralize SatinFinish Foundation that was the original liquid foundation released as part of the Mineralize range, but it totally kicks its ass in regards to quality, finish, feel... pretty much everything!

As ye may have picked up from that, I'm a fan!

It's a sheer to medium luminous, natural satin finish foundation containing minerals (MAC's 77 mineral complex) and other beneficial ingredients such as Shea butter and Vitamin E - a powerful anti-oxidant.
It also contains powders to create an "optical blurring effect" to help hide the appearance of imperfections and fine lines etc.
And it contains an all important Broad Spectrum SPF15 for skin protection against sun damage and aging.

It comes in 18 shades, NC15 being the lightest and NW50 the darkest, but like the Satinfinish, it excludes the NW15 shade, which may be a pain in the bee-hind for those of us who are super pale with a pinky undertone.

Watch the video for more information as well as a full demo.

In the above video I also briefly discuss the discontinuation of the MAC Satinfinish foundation as well as the MAC SPF15 foundation which retired last year.
And finally I talk a little about the introduction of new shades to the Studio Fix foundation line also!!

  1. Oh no, have to try and convince myself I don't need this as I already splurged on NARS Sheer Glow recently and I really want to try the new Bourjois Healthy Mix and the Revlon Nearly Naked. Foundations hold the power over me, for sure! This just sounds *amazing...might get a sample if I can!

    1. I hear ya!!! I just couldn't resist splurging out on the new Lancome serum foundation & concealer duo last week also, while I'm supposed to be on a spending freeze to save for my trip to London next week. It's a serious addiction! ha ha
