How the collection looks on MAC counters.

I got a chance to swatch the eyeshadows and blushes so ye can see how they look swirled together as well as with the different colours separated.  The blushes in particular may be tricky enough to use on paler skins so I would recommend using them as eyeshadows, they are really stunning, vibrant shades.

'Dare to Bare' is surprisingly pale when the shades are swirled together and will make a beautiful silvery highlight, 'Bossa Blue' gave a lovely effect when swirled together though I love the brown shade solo! The Blue alone stained my skin a bit.

It's definitely worth getting into a counter and swatching the shades for yourselves as they do vary in intensity & pay-off but all are quite nice, 'Caribbean' being the only one I'm not that bonkers about, largely due to the texture which seemed more 'bitty' than the others and less smooth.

The Blushes;

Round swatch; Swirled together
Left Stripes; On bare skin/Dry
Centre Stripes; On bare skin/Wet
Right Stripes; Over a primer
(Substitutions; EyeShadows... Orange & Antiqued/ Blusher..... Melba)

Round swatch; Swirled together
Left Stripes; On bare skin/Dry
Centre Stripes; On bare skin/Wet
Right Stripes; Over a primer
(Substitutions; EyeShadows... Goldmine & Passionate/ Blusher..... Dainty/Gentle)
Round swatch; Swirled together
Left Stripes; On bare skin/Dry
Centre Stripes; On bare skin/Wet
Right Stripes; Over a primer
(Substitutions; EyeShadows... Fushia pigment & Bronze/ Blusher..... Love Thing)
The blushes are clearly suited to the deeper skintones that the Brazilian inspired collection was based on but with a light hand 'Simmer' & 'Sweet Mamba' would be lovely on light to medium skins, and 'Exotic Ember' should definitely be saved for more tanned skins! Though all make for stunning eyeshadows.

I will hopefully go into a similar depth next week with the new Mineralize Skinfinishes but for now that's it!!

What do ye all think of the new collection??

Chat soon,
Shiv.
