New Bobbi Brown EyeShadows.

I recently picked up some Bobbi Brown eye products as I have only been trying a couple of their concealers over the past while and hadn't actually tried anything else in years!
I used to own their long-wear cream eyeshadow in 'Bone' long before I ever owned a paint pot or color tattoo and loved it! So with that nostalgia hanging over me, I was inspired to buy 2 of their cream shadows and a single powder shadow.

I chose a single 'regular' Long-Wear Cream EyeShadow in the colour 'Black Violet', a lovely deep grape/purple subtly shimmer colour. As with all of the cream shadows, it is long-wearing and crease-proof, and it definitely is! Doesn't budge off of your lids once on, and needs a good makeup remover to get it off at the end of the day. It can take a couple of layers to build up a nice opaque finish but once on it looks great for the day.

From their Metallic long-wearing cream shadows I got 'GoldStone', a lovely pewter/gold sparkly shade, and 'Black Pearl', a light silvery/purple with some sparkle also. They don't have as smooth a texture as the regular cream shadows but the finish is gorgeous and very reflective!

I also bought a Metallic Powder EyeShadow in the colour 'Forest' that costs €22.50 from Brown Thomas in Ireland .
It's a gorgeous khaki green high shimmer finish shadow....

I really like this shadow when applied over a base but the green metallic sparkles seem to disappear after a while from the dry swatch leaving a matte black base. The fall-out is pretty bad but I love how it looks on (over a base) enough that it doesn't put me of too much and I would absolutely be doing my eyes before my base with this guy anyhow!
