New from Lancome #SatItWithYourEyes

Lancome's newest launch this summer is all about the eyes with new cream eyeshadow sticks, brow gels, a white liner pen and a dinky wee dual ended spoolie/brush to boot!
Admittedly, Lancome is not a brand that I am well versed in... but saying that, I have really enjoyed 90% of what I have tried of the brand. (The 10% deficit going to the bi-phase eye makeup remover that stung the bejeezus out of my poor peep-holes!)

I recently received one of the new waterproof eyebrow gel creams, the 'Sourcils Gel' and was pleasently surprised by my actually really liking it, as I generally don't love those types of formula for the brows. I personally always opt for a more natural looking brow, thin or full, and I often find brow gels to be too thick and paint-like in consistency to allow for a natural effect. The formula of this Lancome offering though is actually quite delicate in comparison to others I've tried and when applied with a teeny tiny brush, I am easily able to apply delicate looking hair-like strokes.
I haven't tried it enough yet to attest to it's waterproof claim or whether or not the product dries out prematurely in the pot but from the few times I have tried it now, I'm liking what it's done to my brows.

How the shade 04 Chatain look in my brows. A tad light to be a perfect match, but I like to lighten my brows up most of the time anyhow. I would imagine 05 Brun to be a better match to my natural hair colour.

There are 6 shades available; (most are fairly self explanatory)
01 Blond
02 Auburn
03 Taupe
04 Chatain
(this is a chestnut brown shade, see picture above)
05 Brun
06 Noir

The 5g pots cost €23.00 each.

I also received the 'Eyebrow Reshaper' dual ended brush which costs €20.00. It is one side spoolie (think clean mascara wand) and one side diamond shaped flat brush, which is perfect for cleaning up around the brows with concealer after applying brow colour.

Also just released were the 'Ombré Hypnose Stylo' shadow sticks. These are long wearing cream eyeshadow mechanical crayons.
I got the shade 05 Erika F which is a beautiful multi-dimensional olive/khaki colour that goes on creamy, but sets to a fairly budge proof finish. I was impressed by the immediate opacity of the product when swatched on my hand, but I have yet to test it on my eyeballs. Though that is going to happen this week sometime, so keep an eye on my SnapChat for that! (Username; ShivLetzMakeup)

There are 8 Shades available; (how they are described in the press release)
01 Or Inoubliable - delicate gold.
02 Sable Enchanté - light copper.
03 Taupe Quartz - rosy champagne grey.
04 Brun Captivant - light warm bronze
05 Erika F - silvery khaki.
06 Turquoise Infini - golden sapphire.
07 Bleu Nuit - effervescent (?) navy.
08 Violet Eternel - vibrant amethyst.

The shadow sticks cost €26.00 each.

Also released along with the above (I didn't receive it to try out) is the 'Liner Plume' which is a white liner. I assume from the press release picture that it's a marker type liner but I'm not sure. Interesting choice of liner colour all the same! This is available for €29.00. (surprisingly the most expensive of the lot?!)

I'm sorry to say that I'm not actually sure as to whether these are permanent or limited as it wasn't stated in the info I was sent. They are available nationwide now though so I'm sure a quick visit to your local counter will fill in all the blanks in jig time!

Let me know your opinions on the products if any of you guys have given them a go!!

Chat soon,
Shiv.
