Studded Ape Skull Makeup Tutorial | Halloween '14

This tutorial was more of an experiment rather than a well thought out planned design, but sometimes winging it on a very basic idea works out! Not 100% happy with it but it could've been a lot worse...
And I love just sitting down, playing with makeup and seeing where things go;
I highly recommend you all do the same!!

Crazy Clown Makeup | Halloween 2014

Oh Halloween, how I love thee...
I figured it was about time for another clown makeup and this one is a messy looking, slightly unhinged little Fecker :P
But surprisingly easy to apply!!
Watch the tutorial at the bottom of this post to see how I applied it.

You will need;
Glue Stick (Non-toxic & washable!)
Water in spray bottle

Zombie Makeup Tutorial | Halloween 2014

Well!!
This is actually my first ever proper Zombie look, not sure why I never did one before, anyhow it's easy to achieve, perfect for Halloween and I would give about 2 hours to apply in total at most!! (Mostly because of waiting for the latex to dry)

Removing Gelatine Facial Prosthetics & Spirit Gum.

I always get asked about how I wash my face & remove prosthetics made from gelatine and latex etc after I make a Halloween video, so after my last tutorial, I filmed the removal/cleansing process and talk through it so ye can have a look!
I feel like I need to add here that I am not a professional special effects makeup artist by any means, I have learned by watching and doing, and largely by trial and error, so I cannot say that this is 100% the best or correct way to do it but this is how I know how to do it and what works for me :)
Also, I will say that my face was (and almost always is) a little sensitive for a day or two after I did/do this type of makeup!
Hope it helps!!!
xx

Zombie Clown Makeup Tutorial

It's finally that time when I start rolling out my makeup tutorials of all things freaky, scary and gross in time for Halloween!
My first of 2013 is a Zombie Clown which I haven't seen much on the 'tube so far and I tried to stay as close to a Zombie makeup as I could while putting my own twist on it....

Gross & Gory 'Chelsea smile' Halloween Tutorial

My entire Halloween video collection to date!

Ok, so this one is super gross but really simple to do!
You just need nose & scar wax, liquid latex, a hairdryer, makeup & blood. Preferably runny blood as well as gel blood.

Wicked Witch; Halloween Makeup Tutorial.

Soooo....... Believe it or not, this was my very first time actually doing a full look using latex! I have always just used gelatin in the past as it's easier to get hold of (everything from the grocery) and not as unpleasant to remove! So this was very much trial & error, which is my favourite thing really. I love experimenting with new things!

Bullet in yo' Head; Halloween Tutorial (2 methods!)

First method begins at; 01:25
Second method begins at; 09:43

The first bullet hole is what I did for halloween on myself & my sister a couple of years ago mainly because I was working & just didn't have the time to do anything more elaborate!
These kind of 'special effects' makeups are generally simple enough to do yet still quite effective!
Definitely practice a few times before the day though. I had almost forgotten how I did this back in 2010 and I don't think it came out quite as good as then but it will still give give ye the general idea how it's done.
Scroll down to the bottom of the post to see pictures of my sister & myself back in 2010.

Halloween '11; VooDoo Witch.

Hey Folks!

After an annoying & unfortunate hiatus due to various health ailments I'm finally back to provide ye with my newest scare offering for this years Halloween ..... & may I re-introduce my little sister Eithne who some of you may recognise from about a year or so ago when I used her in my 'Perfect Red Lip'
tutorial.

Anyhu.....
The makeup is supposed to look like it was applied by a Witch-Doctor & not a makeup artist so I tried to make it so as it would be easy to re-create. No need to be precise or neat.
