New Year New Makeup!! ft. BH Cosmetics

Hey Guys!!

Wanna see the makeup that I wore out on New Years Eve this year?

I wasn't going to post this yet as I'm not sure if I will upload the accompanying video or not.
BH Cosmetics sent me 3 palettes along with a brush set and eye/lip primer for review or tutorial, but they will be sponsoring my video so since the lighting on the tutorial that I have filmed for it turned out awful, I may have to film another one. I want it to be perfect before I upload it but I'll leave that 'til during the week, so for now I'll show some photo's and the product list, and if I do upload, it'll appear here in a couple of days time!!

(Mon 3rd Jan; It's a go :) Here's the video!! Enjoy, and again sorry about the poor lighting!!)

I went for a pink eyeshadow look, with classic liner, lashes and under-eye glitter to add a party element to the look.  I used colours from the 120 BH Cosmetics Palette, 3rd edition. (See pics below of palette)

I can honestly say that these eyeshadows are impressive considering the inexpensive price tag of the palettes, and I have never even seen a 120 palette before in "real life" nor do I have any similar palettes to give me an idea of what to expect. I have heard mixed reviews on these types of palettes but never the less was delighted to be receiving them for consideration, and I am so happy that I did! I am well impressed by them and will have to ban myself from buying any more eyeshadows this year!!

Anyhu's, here's the 3rd edition 120 Palette.....

 Top tray.....

Bottom Tray.....

It's a mixture of matte and shimmer eyeshadow colours and costs $34.95 which is .29c per shadow!!
This palette is new and is $5 more expensive than the previous 1st & 2nd editions, and is big enough in size at 9" x 6".
I'm not quite sure as to why it costs more than the others but I think it has something to do with the shadows having been reformulated.  I haven't owned them long enough either to notice if there is much of a difference to warrant the price hike, but I personally think that either price is more than reasonable!
I will show the other palettes (1st edition 120 palette and 88 shimmer tropical), soon in a separate post and will also swatch some of my favourite colours from each so ye can see the colour pay-off for yourselves.

I was also sent the 10pc Deluxe Makeup Brush Set which comes in a wee black pouch and retails for $39.95 on the website.

I have only used them once so far and so haven't formed a solid opinion on them yet but they seem nice enough on first try.  They are made up of a mixture of natural and synthetic fibres (Goat/Pony/Sable/Raccoon/ Taklon) and are full length brushes. I will probably do a review on these at a later date once I've had the chance to familiarise myself with them!!

  6. Is BH Cosmetics do shipping in Philippines,.?
well, i got mine from an Online Shop here in the Philippines called Dollface Cosmetics,at www.swtangel.multiply.com,..
well, when i bought mine,it was in a Mark Down Price for some Eyeshadows are damaged, but since in her site, she have tutorials on how to fix damaged shadows,
i bought it because i want to use it for practising and experimenting new styles in applying shadows,.
So now, i'm looking for a New and also a Good Quality 120 Eyeshadow Palette to use.
As seen in your Video i think i would like to try one, same as yours, we don't know if in the pigments of the Shadows they might differ, and i would like to see the difference between the two palettes.
