Hey everyone ^_^
This weeks most loved lovely is Mac's eyeshadow 'Stars & Rockets'. A beautiful duo-chrome iridescent Pink/Lilac purple colour, and the first Mac eyeshadow I ever owned!
Much loved and much re-purchased ^_^
Here it is used on my lids in a recent makeup tutorial which you can watch here.....

Sigma Synthetic Brush Kit Review!
Hey Guys:)
So here's my long awaited Sigma long handled kabuki or synthetic brush kit review!
The only negatives I could think of regarding the brushes were.....
1). The drying time is definitely an over night job, but this is due to the density of the head.
2). It's not conducive to sheer makeup application. (This can be good or bad depending on your needs!)

Product of the Week; Sigma - Small Tapered Blending Brush E45
Sigma makeup brushes are certainly not new to the market but they are relatively new(ish) to me! I first bought the complete 12 brush kit (without the roll) over a year ago after giving into the hype generated through youtube reviews and blog posts. I couldn't believe how impressive the quality of the brushes were considering how inexpensive the kit was (Works out at about €5.00 a brush!)
I wanted to try out more of the kits since but hadn't really been able to afford it considering I really don't need more makeup brushes (Not that I don't want them though!! Definitely a weakness for me!!) & I didn't have a credit card of my own to go internet shopping willy nilly.
Fast forward to November 2010 just gone and Sigma sent me out the new 'Sigmax' Synthetic Face Kit for consideration, and I fell in love again! Fantastic & innovative brushes! (Will be doing a thorough review on the Sigma brush kits soon so won't go too in-depth here).
So a couple of weeks ago I bought the Premium 15 Brush Kit (this time I had no choice but to get it with the brush roll) as a birthday present to myself (from Brendan! Ha ha). Again I am hugely impressed by this kit and the range and uniqueness of the brushes. Now I know that Sigma have modeled most of their brush designs on Mac brushes but many of the Mac counterparts are pro only, or discontinued and of course much more expensive. (Again, I'll tackle the Mac comparison in my upcoming reviews)

Carnivále Mask Makeup Tutorial.
Hey Guys:)
I finally got around to trying out my first ever mask makeup!!
I was inspired by Carnival, Galway's Arts festival, Gypsy aesthetics & Fortune tellers. And I was largely drawing from my love of the brilliant TV Show "Carnivále" which I was obsessed with when I finally discovered it. (It's amazing, ye should really check it out!!)
Anyhow, as with my previous artistic Makeup tutorials in this vein, I made it up as I went along and was pleased with how it turned out!!
Let me know whet ye think ^_^
(Oh and that massive Bindi on my forehead has been sitting in my drawer for almost 10 years unused, crazy!! I think I bought it in a shop in London somewhere. I actually think it's a belly button design!!)

NYX Nail Varnish.... Nom nom ^_^
Now as some of you may know, I'm not a big "Nails" girl. I don't read many blog posts about them, or watch all the Youtube videos showing nail designs and nail varnish hauls that pop-up in my subscriptions. But saying that, I do like wearing nail varnish and am always looking for "Siobhán Friendly" varnish colours.
One brand that has always impressed me is NYX, and this is across the board, including all of their different product types. In my local beauty supply shop, near the till area, are the NYX stands, one of them being a very impressive nail varnish stand almost as tall as I am!!
My favourite colours tend to be in the pink and purple family and include these 2 beauties.

(One coat of each)
"Princess" NP08
"Vamp" NP24
I have gotten into the habit lately of wearing a different colour on each hand, it started from not being able to decide between which colour i wanted to wear, so I chose both!
And with so many gorgeous shades to choose from why stick with just one!!!
Either way, I love a good nail varnish (or 2) and NYX's range is definitely one of my favourites!!
Worth checking out if ye haven't already!
Thanks a mill Guys:)
Take care,
Siobhán.
