F30
A large dense natural hair brush for Powder or Bronzer!
One of my favourite's, absolutely perfect for contouring because of the pointed tip and so soft!!
A medium sized natural hair brush, perfect for Blusher.
A duo fiber brush with a really unique head shape. I love this for blusher but also nice for liquids.
F35
Another lovely brush:) Great for contouring, highlighting, controlled powder application and blush!
The large concealer brush or small foundation brush as I like to call it! Such a handy brush that's great for any liquid or cream product. The synthetic bristles won't absorb too much product either.
E75
Your standard concealer brush but better! Great size and not too floppy which is good. Great also for cream eyeshadow.
E50
Brilliant for all over eye colour, highlighting and blending out harsh lines:)
E25
Absolutely essential for anyone's brush collection. The ultimate blender!
E35
A longer version of the E25 which gives a more sheer application of colour and a lighter blend.
E45
My absolute favourite little gem. The pointed tip allows for amazingly precise application of colour in the crease area & the tapered sides blend out edges also. A must have brush!!!
E15
I love this brush for applying liner with cream & powder, and for the brows.
This brush is the perfect lash line smudger! Also great for applying colour densely.
E10
This is how the eyeliner brush is supposed to look, but unfortunately mine was blunt at the tip. Though other people assure me that theirs is great!
L05
Another must-have, this lip brush is so handy for your makeup bag due to the cap, keeping it germ free & sanitary.
As far as any negative points go there are minimal!
1)There was the usual amount of shedding you would expect from the first couple of washes but it wasn't an issue during application.
2)The dye of the bristles bled into the tissue when wet which may alarm some people is they haven't come across this before. It doesn't bother me and reduces after a few washes, but mainly, it doesn't affect the performance of the brushes, which is extremely high in my opinion, especially for the price!

ReplyDeletei have been really into brushes the last year and bough like every drugstore brush i could find. but there are not many good ones in the drugstore here in austria. so i ordered the sigmax kit. and i really fell in love with it. i use the flat top for my liquid foundation, the round top for my facepowder and the angled one for highlight and blush. i love them. i couldn't afford a kit from sigma yet but maybe your giveaway will solve that problem for me :)

I really have wanted this brush set for a long time. Ive seen loads of reviews for sigma brushes on youtube and ive been dying to get my hands on them. I only have a couple of mac brushes cus there so expensive here in Ireland. My fave brush would definetly have to be the tapered face brush.

YouTube has helped me develop my skills so much and I can definitely thank Gurus like yourself for that (I'm a loyal subbie, been watching you're video's for a VERY long time! My YT name is PeachyPetite). I've been trying to build a sort of personal collection for a while now and I'm getting there, but brushes are the one thing I just haven't been able to afford (poor student, ho hum). They make such a difference to make-up application and I must admit, I'm sure I'd be a brush-junkie if I could afford to be! It would mean so much to me to win this, you have no idea. There mere thought is sending shivers down my spine! Haha. I've been dying for some Sigma brushes for a while! Unfortunately, my pockets aren't particularly full. I think brushes are the most important part of any kit, whether you're a pro or not. I feel as though if you've got the right brushes, you can make even the lowest of quality shadows work quite well! And the great quality shadows apply THAT much better!

OH MY GOD. this kit is awesome! there's just everything I need. I live in Italy and, trust me, finding here a good kit of brushes without leaving 300 € is just like finding the vaccine for cancer. I am a theater actress, and sometimes I also work as a makeup artist for the other actors... it would be GREAT to have this brushes to gain the most dramatic look for my performances!

I need to replace a lot of things because 2 weeks ago a fire started in my house. It has affected my room, my bathroom and my little sister room too. So sad to see her without all her toys and sad too to see me without all my makeup. Luckily nobody got heart so we are blessed for that. I have an obsession for make up, but I simply don't do it as much because the two brushes I have just don't do justice. ReplyDeleteI love, love, love, your channel and Sigma Brushes both things and I would enjoy to have these brushes, most of my brushes are coming from Coastal but I love Sigma brushes....From Sigma I have only F80 and I'm very intended to get more from this brand...but if I could get them for free would be a dream...I love make up and all retaled tools...you know perfectly what I mean..so the reason because I want this gift is because it become me in the most happy women in the world ...:-) unless until I try all of them.....:-))))))) Thanks for your time and effort.

ReplyDeleteI'm Maria José, a make up enthusiastic but with a huge problem, i don't have a job x_x, i have some money saved (but when i convert it into u$s isn't that much) Sigma brushes are "affordable" but not for some of us, cos is not just the brushes but the shipping also, and if customs gets it is 50% more in taxes to pay x_x (i live in Argentina), so i have to make sure i have all the money just in case they keep it and ask me to go there to pay ¬¬
For now that's impossible, but i know eventually when i get a job i will save enough money to get one (i must admit i haven't decided which one a like most).
So in the meantime i will keep using what i have and keep craving the Sigma ones!

I would love to win this because i have literally 2 brushes!! :( -i have a powder brush which a friend bought me for my birthday but its really scratchy and an old eyeshadow brush, so basically everything goes on with fingers or those ^_^ unfortunately i get quite a few spots so make up and hygiene are pretty important and i would rather use a brush for foundation but cant afford them! I would get so much use out of them, especially the face ones!! :)

ReplyDeleteI really admire your exceptional skills in makeup, and would love to take what I've learned from you and apply it to myself, because I am very much at the start of my professional makeup career (starting my training this June in fact!). Creative make up artists like yourself have made me fall in love with the industry, and have opened up and entirely new world to me!
It would mean a lot to me at this point to own a set of brushes like these, because having good tools makes all the difference, and these have a fantastic reputation. Having said that, I will continue to enjoy your videos regardless and look forward to learning lots of new tips, tricks, and skills from you in the future.

My current brush kit is a mash up of all sorts of brushes - some good and some...not so much. I would love to have a cohesive brush set and would really like to try a Sigma brush! I have had my eye on the F15 and F10 for a long time.

ReplyDeleteI would really like to win this as where I live, it is rather difficult to get hold of brushes that are of even remote quality and ordering on line adds up to too much with the customs and handling fees and all other expenses they like to charge people. Hence this would be like a christmas come early this year for me :)

Because I'm doing my mom's wedding makeup, and it would be much easier and quicker to have a nice set of brushes. She is marrying 11-11-11 still a far away date but i am a poor student so i will never ever have enough money to save up for a brush set like that!

Thanks for your ever honest reviews! To be honest some of the reviews from "YouTube Gurus" with their ever gushing praises on Sigma Brushes can be a little offputting as it can seem so false, but as ever, your review is refreshing and honest. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say we appreciate your honest, "warts and all" reviews which mention the shedding and bleeding etc...

I want it because I only have sephora's double brush, and I would like to buy sigma's brushes, the problem is that I wouldn't be able to get it until my mother goes to the USA to visit her parents, since the mail has gone private in Spain and I have to pay a lot of money if I want the things that I've bought . ReplyDeleteWhoa I'd love to win this! I don't want to sound like a sad sack sympathy grabber, but I'm 21 and I've been unemployed for over a year so I've got no money. I've actually only just figured out that I want to be a makeup artist, but I haven't got the money or the resources to start building my kit. Everything is SO expensive in Australia too, it's so unfair! I've been really down on my luck these past few months, and having this would just be one less thing to stress over in regards to my career :)

Aww, you're a doll for doing this! Well, here's why I'd love to win the kit: After many years of feeling makeup was "silly" and "frivolous," I allowed myself to get into it because I was entering cosmetology school and needed to look professional. Once I started, I couldn't stop! Cosmetology school didn't work out, but makeup did-- I now work as a makeup artist at a Halloween festival locally, and am starting to build a portfolio. I am still quite the beginner, so though I have piles of (mostly inexpensive) makeup, I am still very short on brushes. I feel higher quality brushes would improve my work ten-fold, and would love to show up to shoots/jobs with something besides my Ecotools/paintbrushes in a box. :) Just have to say, too, that you are one of my top 5 makeup artists on YouTube. I love your style, and the ease with which you explain things. You're quite the inspiration! Thanks for being you.
