Elaborate Masquerade Makeup Tutorial; Halloween '13

Booooooo :(
It has come to that saddest time of the year again where I have to say goodbye to my Halloween makeup creations and return to the more 'everyday' wearable looks (mostly)....
But before that happens, I have one last look to fit in before Halloween tomorrow and it's this elaborate masquerade mask makeup, possibly my favourite of all my Halloween looks from this year!
It's a very theatrical look with obvious similarities to Prince Poppycock, Cirque du Soleil, Illamasqua's dark historical Berlin-esque aesthetic and a little reminiscent of my mask from last year too.

This was a true labour of love, taking me over 2 & 1/2 hours to create thanks to painstakingly applying each individual 'pearl gem' by hand to create the mask's inner border. I bought the 'gems' at a local craft store and stuck them to the face using craft tweezers and my duo lash glue which is a latex adhesive available at most beauty supply stores.
The top beaded false lashes are by Salon Systems and called the Boho lashes, I've been dying to use them for a look since getting them months ago but they never seemed suitable until now.  I love how they fit the rest of this design perfectly!
I bought the head piece for €4.00 at a local costume shop in Galway!
