Nivea Q10 Skin Care; Battling Wrinkles One Face Cream at a Time!

Nivea first released the Q10 range 17 long years ago and their scientists have been constantly developing and improving on the formula since then.
The formula revolves around an ingredient called Coenzyme Q10 which occurs naturally in our own skin, but like everything else, it's levels begins to decrease as we grow older. This Coenzyme Q10 works as a powerful antioxidant, fighting off all kinds of nasties that attack our skin's cells on a daily basis. This along with Hyaluronic Acid and Creatine, both of which also occur naturally in our skin (but also at lessening levels as we age), helps to lessen the appearance of existing fine lines and wrinkles while helping to prevent the formation of new ones.

I have been using the Nivea Q10 range for several years now, my Mam used it before me, and I clearly like it well enough as I keep repurchasing various products (though sporadically).
The 'Age Spot Day Cream SPF30' in the picture above was bought by myself a few weeks ago from a local supermarket and it's one of my favourite SPF30 moisturisers! (The other being the 'Simple' one).
It's a lightweight yet hydrating moisturiser that resides very comfortable on my skin without "sitting on top of the skin". And importantly for me, it works very well under makeup!
I have been using the Serum Pearls since it was sent to me almost 2 weeks ago and really like the stuff!!! It's a super unique formula that comes out yellow but dissolves into colourless nothing on the skin. It leaves no residue and dries fairly matte, and works as another great makeup base. The serum also has the highest concentration of Coenzyme Q10 from across the range.

The price point as well as the easy accessibility of the range (it's available on just about every supermarket & chemist in Ireland) also factor into my long time usage of the Nivea products....
And they just feel nice on my skin!

What I own of the range;
Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream SPF15 RRP €11.80
Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Age Spot Day Cream SPF30 RRP €12.99
Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream RRP €12.59
Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Plus Serum Pearls RRP €14.99
Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Plus EyeCream RRP €11.79
(All bar the 'Age Spot' cream were sent C/O)

The serum is the newest addition to the family and is available nationwide from this month!

Have any of you guys tried these products??
What do you think?

That's me for now!!

  1. These look like great products, but I don't think they're available in the US. :sighs: I'd have to go thru Amazon or ebay to try and get ahold of them. Grr!
