NYX Macaron LipSticks; Serious case of WANT!!!

A picture of these guys from NYX appeared on my Instagram feed a couple of weeks ago and my heart skipped a beat!

I only recently uploaded my video on how to make lipstick from crayons  as a method of creating lipsticks in colours that either don't exist or are very hard to find, and in the video I said how I wasn't delighted with them due to the risk factor of applying crayons to the skin (and mouth) and would love to find all the colours in real lipsticks. Then lo-and-behold, NYX read my mind and the very next week come out with these babies!!! What good timing!

There are 12 shades in the Macaron Lipsticks ranging from pure white to blackest black and beautifully vivid brights in between.

How flippin' gorgeous do they look! I am truly in love, or at least in lust at first sight since I haven't even tried them out yet!!

They promise to be long-wearing with an opaque satin-matte finish.

They are described on the website as "Creamy and highly pigmented pastel and neon colored lipsticks. " that "Create various, pastel and neon lip looks."... and "These pastel and neon lipsticks come in 12 creamy shades, smell delicious, and add an eccentric pop of color to any look." 

These beauties are available for only $6.00 each here on the official NYX website and are delightfully cruelty free!

I absolutely plan on picking up some of them soon in the future and chucking my crayon lipstick palette, definitely won't have a need for that once I get the real things :)

The Top 2 ingredients are emollients which give a slight gloss to the formula and the third ingredient Microcrystalline Wax works as a binding agent which prevents sweating of the lipstick. They also contain other waxes and oils as well as the pigments that give the colour etc.
