Olay Regenerist Luminous.

Olay are at it again, adding to their growing Regenerist range with the aim of helping us over 30's look as youthful and glowing as possible!
The newest members to the club are the Regenerist Luminous Skin tone Perfecting Cream Moisturiser and Dark Circle Correcting Swirl Eye (That's posh-speak for eye-cream!).

These are, as you may have guessed, in the luminosity-boosting business. The newest foe to our aging faces seems to be 'skin fatigue', this means that not only does skin begin to look a little bit crap as we age but it also stops responding to the ingredients that are supposed to help it look less crap!... and this is thanks to a decline in something called "cellular bioenergy".
The new Luminous duo promise to provide both the instant and long-term results of vibrancy and hydration as well as skin clarity and brightening. The skin will look re-energised and be protected while the skin-tone enjoys being improved upon thanks to proven ingredients like Olay's favourite 'Niacinamide'which improves elasticity, brightens thanks to gentle exfoliation and protects the skin's barrier. It also contains hydrating ingredients that will help plump out the skin, encouraging a youthful appearance and anti-oxidants to protect against the damage caused by free radicals.
As well as all that good stuff they have thrown in peptides which are also known anti-aging fighters and light reflecting particles to brighten and diffuse light, helping to soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Basically that all means that they will help to make your skin look fresh and lovely!

The face cream offers long lasting hydration and will also work on unevenness & those annoying dark spots.
The eye cream is brightening and will counteract dark circles as well as nourish and regenerate the skin's surface.

Top picture shows consistency of the eye cream,
and the bottom picture the luminance it gives!

The new duo is now available in Boots and on Boots.com for the random RRP of €38.39!!

Definitely worth a look if you are in the market for dealing with dullness etc.
My mother has nabbed these ones for herself but I did get to enjoy a good couple of weeks of testing these out and thoroughly enjoyed them! One little observation though is that these didn't play well with others, I found they sat better on the skin alone. Besides that, lovely!

Have any of you guys tried these out yet??

Take it easy!

  1. That looks interesting! Do you think that the eye cream would be good for droopy eyelids? I have a friend who has that problem and nothing is really working!

    1. Hi :) I'm not sure it would be particularly useful for drooping eyelids. I don't really know of any topical creams that can help that! Sorry! x
