Product Focus; La Roche-Posay 'Hydreane' BB Creme

Ahh BB Creams, how had I gone so long living without them!?
I know many of ye are sick to the teeth of hearing about BB creams at this stage, but for me, they are a relatively new thing.

I have been trying out a few different BB creams now for the past 2 months or so, and honestly, my pool ol' foundations haven't really gotten much of a look in at all since my new friends appeared on the scene! (My scene that is)
One of my better loved BB creams is this beaut from La Roche-Posay (which as ye all know by now, is a brand that I'm very very fond of... ^_^ )
It's the 'Hydreane' BB Creme SPF20, which is touted as being both a skincare & makeup product in one.
I love it as it triples up as my moisturiser, my foundation & my SPF, which is perfect for days I'm in a bit of a hurry, or just can't be bothered applying a gazillion different layers!
It comes in 2 shades, light & medium. (I'm hoping they release a darker shade for deeper skintones at some stage)
I'm wearing the Light shade of course, which is a light pinky/apricot shade.
It's a thickish cream consistency which gives a light buildable coverage to the complexion.

The 'Light' shade swatched against my whiter than white inner forearm!

These two pictures are stills taken from my last favourites video in which I'm wearing the La Roche-Posay BB Creme, so even though it seems a tad dark on my forearm, once blended into the skin, it's a pretty good match!

It retails for €18.00 here in Ireland and is available from Pharmacies nationwide

It's specially formulated for sensitive skin and is packed with anti-oxidants and other yummy ingredients like Thermal Spring Water, Glycerine & Shea Butter.
I do powder lightly over the central areas of my face but on my oily T-zone, it starts to get a bit shiny after maybe 4 hours, so I have been using my MAC blotting film to absorb the excess oil once it appears.
I think it will suit all but the oiliest of skin-types and it gives a beautiful luminous healthy glow to the skin, something I'm leaning more towards as I'm getting older! :(
I do have to use a concealer on my blemishes, but that's normal apart from when using the thickest of foundation formulas.

As with the rest of the LR-P products, it's Hypollergenic, Paraben Free & Non-comedogenic.

Another product to love, making me a happy makeup (and skincare) camper :)
What are your favourite BB creams?

Siobhán.
