Eye of Horus | Makeup Review.

'Eye of Horus' Cosmetics very recently made it's way to Irish shores (and bloggers' mail boxes), and this was my first time hearing about the Australian cosmetics brand.

Their tagline is 'Awaken the Goddess within' and the entire line is inspired by the beauty of the Ancient Egyptians whom they credit as "the originators of beauty and mystique".

These are called the 'Auto Eyebrow Pencils' and there is an impressive 7 shades to choose from. ...that's pretty much on par with the MAC brow pencil shade range!!

Lancome's newest launch this summer is all about the eyes with new cream eyeshadow sticks, brow gels, a white liner pen and a dinky wee dual ended spoolie/brush to boot!

Admittedly, Lancome is not a brand that I am well versed in... but saying that, I have really enjoyed 90% of what I have tried of the brand. (The 10% deficit going to the bi-phase eye makeup remover that stung the bejeezus out of my poor peep-holes!)

Welcome to part 3 of my 'Fuller brow'd beauties' series with this weeks inspiration being the beautiful and edgy Rooney Mara (post "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo").

I chose the look she wore to this years Punk inspired Met Gala Ball  as my influence for the tutorial but decided to keep my newly cut in fringe (bangs) in the look as it is a signature of her's as well!

Part 2 of my 'Fuller Brow'd Beauties' Series, I've chosen the gorgeous Lily Collins as this weeks' inspiration as her new film 'The Mortal Instruments' is released this week.

And if I'm to be completely honest.... I'm a big fan of her Da' Phil Collins & his band 'Genesis'! 

I even went to see them a few years ago in concert in Amsterdam and it was one of the better gigs I've ever been to!!! Even if I did have some trouble seeing the stage through the sea of bald heads in front of me, ha ha.

Inspired by all the gorgeous, full, 'lush' brows that are dominating the beauty-sphere at the minute, here is the first in a series of tutorials based off of gals with fuller eyebrows. I'm starting with the beautiful Cara Delevingne, British uber-model du jour who has gorgeous full dark brows that don't over-power her delicate face!

Needed to lighten my eyebrows up a little as I'm off to get my hair coloured in a short while (Highlighted and caramel toner) So I decided to record it for ye to share my method and tips.
I;m only going a couple of shades lighter first of all and I'll see how it looks compared to my lighter hair once it's done and adjust as necessary.
I use Jolen bleach, have done for years, and I find it great. Really gentle and effective!
It's hailed as the World's no 1 bleach, hailing from USA. And is very popular in Asia!!
