I created this video in response to people who complained I talk too much in my other liner videos...so here there is no intro, no speeches! Ha ha. Just a quick 2minutes of how to apply eyeliner & get that flick equal on both eyes. xx
Sleek Makeup have done it again and are catering to the needs of the average makeup consumer by releasing an easy to use felt-tip eyeliner pen that's long lasting and smudge resistant.
These type of eyeliner pens are not completely new to the market but they are becoming more popular and for good reason. They are brilliant for easy liner application and great for the makeup novice who struggles with 'floppy' brush applicators.
Sleek Makeup's "Flick it" eyeliner pens will be released in 3 shades on the 13th of February. Two of which, "Royal Blue" & "Purple Aura", being limited edition and the Black shade "Dazzling Black" to stay in line permanently!
This was more of a makeup experiment than a proper tutorial but decided to run with it anyhow!
Very obvious Monochromatic look using blacks & whites but any 2 colours could be used, one dark & one light. Just try it out & have fun!
It took me a while to latch onto the marker-like eyeliners, (that came onto the market relatively recently), initially but I am at last converted.... well kind of!!
It depends on the quality obviously but this can vary widely. The first I ever tried was the Eyelure pen which is decent to be fair but dries up way too quickly during application.... major points lost.
I tried the Mac "Penultimate" liner next which again is decent but the nib just isn't quite as sturdy-while-being-fine as I'd like, and line work isn't as delicate with it pretty early on which is also sucky.
Recently I got my grubby little fingers on "Velvet... by Migi Cosmetics" by way of Heather (Sokolum79 ....again thank you!!)
Now this is a pen worth blogging about! Unfortunately Migi is a brand I've never come across here at my end of the world, I think I've only heard it being mentioned during various youtube videos.
But I believe that it's widely available throughout the US & Canada etc.
Hey Everyone ^_^
After I posted my videos on close-set/wide set-eyes, I received a huge amount of requests for how to make your eyes look bigger... And here it is!!
I think this makeup makes me look a little crazy, ha ha!! But I also think it's quite Anime looking too ^_^
Hey Everyone:)
After yesterdays post on how to make wide-set eyes appear closer together, today's post is the exact opposite!
Here I show a few tips on how to make close-set eyes appear more wide set, or how to accentuate wide set eyes.
Hey Everyone!!!
Here is my contribution to the quest for the perfect symmetrical eyeliner which is something everyone who loves makeup strives for!
In the video I am using my Ben Nye Cake Liner and The Daler Rowney System 3 Round No. 0 Paint Brush & Mac's #266 Angled Eyeliner Brush. The paint brush is my favourite but I have several which I love and use often.
They are, from right to left, and from top to bottom, Sigma SS209, Sigma SS266, 0 Marks Sablon 279, Daler Rowney Dalon 277 #00, The Daler Rowney System 3 Round N.01 Paint Brush, Mac's #266 Angled Eyeliner Brush, The Daler Rowney System 3 Round No. 0 Paint Brush, Mac's #209 Eyeliner Brush, Mac's #210 Eyeliner Brush.
I have a couple others that I don't really like or use. I will be making a video showing my favourite eyeliner brushes soon, adding to my makeup brushes video series!
Here are some old pictures of eyeliner from my tutorials!
Have fun Eyelining!! And remember to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!!
