New Makeup Play; Makeup Tutorial ft. Real Techniques, Inglot, Chanel & More!

Hey Guys :)

I picked some of my favourite bits from my latest 'Shiv's Stash' collective haul and created this pretty, warm makeup look, as a way of distancing myself a little from the bolder, darker looks I had been knocking out over the Christmas period.

I love a gold eye but they can often look very same-y same-y, which is where this beautiful Inglot #68 Body Sparkle comes into play to add a little interest and uniqueness!

Hey Folks :)

We just had a long weekend here in Ireland thanks to Easter, which I spent up in the beautiful county of Donegal with my boyfriend and his family. Being away from my computer and the internet for 4 days though means I have fallen behind on updating all my stuff on here, so scroll down to see all the videos ye may have missed over the past week or so.

3 Dresses Styled for Winter!

This awesome elephant print dress is 100% my style, I love the amber on black, cut-out sleeves and the intricate detailing at the hem of the dress. Plus it makes me very nostalgic, reminding me of the 3 months I spend traveling around Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam in my early 20's! In Thailand I visited an Elephant Sanctuary where they cared for rescued elephants and of course it's the only time in my life where I saw an Elephant in the flesh. I got to feed one and have a sit on one while it sauntered about. It was magical!!

Super Fashion & Accessories Haul!!

And I have accumulated a load of bits to show ye over the past month,  I haven't spent my entire bank account on these as I was sent a good few of the following bits through various blogger programmes.... BUT that doesn't mean I didn't do a bit of damage in Penneys as usual :)

It has been such a busy month for me so far mainly because of the Halloween makeup videos (which can take about 2 days each to complete from start to finish with set-up, filming, editing etc), as well as all my other work and that means a lot of hours/days spent indoors and plonked down in front of my computer...

Primark Haul!.....with a little TopShop & Swamp. (Shiv's Style)

In keeping with 'not spending my entire bank account' this month, I've mainly just been visiting Penneys (Primark) to satiate my spending urges. A little goes a long way in there, and they have such an amazing selection of items to choose from now-a-days!!!

I've included a few bits I bought the in September also, and that includes my new favourite hat from TopShop too :)

Hello Again!

Nearly there... here is look 3 of 4 from my Autumn lookbook, which turned out to be very Madonna-esque circa 1980's.

The outfit focus is this cute lace "Retro Lolita" skirt which was sent C/o ChicNova.com. I love lace, maybe a bit too much at times, and I also love layering, which is the main reason why I love this time of the year.... I had to wear shorts under the skirt because of it's teeniness but sure I only love the layered look of the pairing! :)

The Leather-look jacket is from Swamp which is an Irish retail chain that often has unique pieces, and nearly everything seems to cost €40.

Top, shorts & socks are all from good ol' Penneys (Primark in Ireland) and the oh-so-lovely booties are from iClothing.ie and are the comfiest pair of boots you could hope to trod about in!

The lovely multi layered (see layers again!!) cross necklace is C/o  SammyDress.com, the Queen of inexpensive apparel websites, and costs only $3.82.... Very 'The Craft' which was the main fashion inspiration of my teens!

Now I know that I have a new crush on a weekly basis but in my defense, there are so many pretty neck-things in the shops lately!!!!

One of the 'hazards' of working in the city is the temptation that you're faced with on your lunch hour while wandering about "window shopping".... There are so many beautiful and seductive statement jewelry pieces in stock at the moment in my favourite stores, Newlook, TopShop, River Island, Penneys etc. 

The bigger jewelry pieces literally transform an otherwise 'dull' outfit into a striking ensemble and the costume jewelry won't cost you a bundle either.

My favourite time of the year is coming around again!

I've always much preferred Autumn/Winter to the Summer months and especially for shopping now is a good time since the new season stuff is starting to trickle in and the summer stock is on sale :)

I went into Penneys to look at a pair of shoes, that a colleague had on in work, and left with a big bag of items, as you do.....

I picked up a different pair of shoe-boots to what I had originally gone in to look at, but they were and are much more comfortable than my colleagues pair when I tried them both on. And I'm super tall in them which I love <3

I was inspired to shoot a summery outfit of the day yesterday thanks to the glorious weather we are having in Galway at the moment and to rock my new uber fancy Ralph Lauren shades. So I packed up my camera & tri-pod & headed out to my family home in the countryside to take advantage of my fathers gorgeous gardening skills!

I am a little bit in love currently with this Romwe Cardi & fab Sammydress bag.

I've never quite gotten over my Hello Kitty obsession, I suspect I'll be one of those 70 yr old non-grannies with 20 cats and hopefully at least 2 more Hello Kitty tattoos, adding to my already existing Hello Kitty tattoo and normal cat on my (tattoo) half-sleeve.

I'm also a tad enamored by cute & kitch knickers! Well underwear in general, I was the proud owner of 2 Hello Kitty bras/crop tops until recently when I had to retire them due to old age :( (That's the age of the garments, not me, ha ha!!)

I picked up these super cute H.K knicker briefs from Penneys last week for €3.00 a piece.....
